Files to 3d print a 'knubster' style mini keel surfboard fin

This is a listing for 3d design files to produce a functional 'knubster' or mini keel fin using a desktop 3d printer. Prints great in PLA! 

The price is set to 'pay what you want' with no minimum :) Official FCS fins like this sell for £20. Print them for your friends for fun and profits...

I'm a surfer, engineer and maker, I designed this fin to 3d print and use in my own boards. The template is based on the classic Gephart Slantback keel but in knubster form.

The airfoil profile is NACA 0010 and is double foiled (like a centre fin), see http://airfoiltools.com/airfoil/details?airfoil=naca0010-il

The dimensions are 76mm base x 48mm high x 8mm thick, the thickness is similar to a normal FCS fin.

--------------3d printing and assembly--------------

There is a separate file for each fin half, they work best printed flat on a desktop 3d printer at 100% infill (solid) with low layer height (<0.3mm). The flat surfaces from the print bed of each fin half can be roughened with sandpaper and then bonded together with 5 minute epoxy glue to create the finished fin.
